Reporting directly to a supportive and progressive Head of People & Culture, you’ll work alongside a team that are working together to drive transformation whilst fostering a collaborative environment. This Head Of’s leadership style is approachable, solutions-focused, and dedicated to enabling success at every level of the organisation! 

The Opportunity  

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified generalist HR professional to join a dynamic team and drive critical initiatives over a 4 to 6 month fixed-term contract (with potential for permanency). You will play a pivotal role in enhancing people practices, ensuring compliance, and addressing complex employee relations matters, all while contributing to the organisation’s growth and operating model transformation. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Providing trusted advice on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes, documenting and resolving current matters 
  • Ensuring HR policies are up-to-date and aligned with labour laws and best practices. 
  • Supporting end-to-end recruitment for key roles, including onboarding and role-specific training. 
  • Championing performance management processes, including appraisals and corrective actions. 
  • Managing HR records and reporting on key metrics to inform organisational decision-making. 
  • Driving training and development programmes to upskill employees and promote engagement. 
  • Broadly helping this Head of People & Culture focus on continuous improvement and the uplift of capability across the business! 

About You  

We are looking for an energetic, competent and collaborative Senior Advisor or Business Partner who is confident working in a fast-paced, results-driven, ever changing environment. You will bring a strong foundation of HR generalist skills with deeper experience in ER. Any exposure to high-risk or regulated industries, or operational blue/white collar workforces would be advantageous. Further you will have expertise in HR compliance and processes with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Finally, you will enjoy hitting the ground running in a fast-paced contract role, to achieve impact quickly and set this business up for success!
