We are excited to partner with this organisation to bring on a Regional Talent and People Specialist to join their Sydney based P&C team in this unique opportunity that will see you blend end to end recruitment, with HR projects. The Leaders

Reporting into a dynamic and passionate Regional Head of HR, you will gain a supportive and progressive leader who encourages a ‘roll up your sleeves’ and ‘get your hands dirty’ approach to collaboration as a team! Additionally, you will work with both local and international stakeholders across Asia Pacific; therefore, any global experience you have would be advantageous.

The Opportunity

The Regional Talent Acquisition & People Specialist is responsible for ensuring this aviation company attracts, selects and onboards first-class talent for the business whilst providing an excellent candidate experience!

The role will take ownership of executional recruitment and require a strong capability to guide managers through each step of the recruitment and onboarding process. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to get involved in projects related to Generalist HR, succession planning, intern and apprenticeship programs and WHS!

Further, you will support the ongoing employee experience by ensuring that internal pathways for succession, career development, and workforce planning are effectively executed.  You will enjoy executing the end-to-end recruitment process for a range of roles including engineers, customer service groups, and corporate staff.

Day to day you will:

  • Effectively prioritise different roles and ensure that time to fill is optimised whilst sourcing the best talent in the market
  • Assist on the development and implementation of the regional talent acquisition and employer branding strategy
  • Create and implement a strategy to actively manage talent pools, and create a talent pipelines
  • Proactively build relationships with relevant stakeholders to strengthen employer branding and assist in equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to effectively recruit and lead
  • Provide support with employee transfers, secondments, visa applications and other administrative processes as required
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Head of People, to review employees’ compensation details to ensure alignment to market, liaising with international CoE’s
  • Participate in projects related to generalist HR and WHS

About You

Do you have a proven track record of successfully executing end to end recruitment processes, elevating employee branding and candidate experience and a desire to become involved with more generalist HR projects? Then this could be the role for you!

This opportunity will suit an experienced in-house recruiter from a customer service orientated background, paired with industry experience recruiting across the hospitality, aviation, manufacturing or construction sectors. Along with this, top notch stakeholder management and relationship building skills are essential to your success as is some exposure to talent or HR projects. Contrary, you may be a HR generalist with a love of TA and project work! We are open to profile for this job, as it is truly unique in nature and could develop in a different verticals as time goes on.

Finally – a passion for the aviation industry will be advantageous, work in a space you know and love!
