The Team

This position would see you join a small but mighty People & Culture team, who are high-performing and truly collaborative in nature, giving you the perfect environment to develop your skillset!

You’ll be guided by an experienced people leader who encourages your growth and prioritises your long-term progression. This support will enable you to make meaningful contributions and explore modern people practices within a supportive team environment.

The Opportunity

This generalist role offers a genuine opportunity for hands-on experience to be gained across the entire spectrum of HR functions and the employee lifecycle. This position could morph into a Coordinator or Advisor role depending on the incoming skillset. Responsibilties will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintaining and adapting policies, processes and records;
  • Analysing people data and distributing reports on key people metrics to leadership including key findings and recommendations;
  • Supporting cyclical HR activities such as engagement surveys, performance reviews, and remuneration reviews;
  • Supporting managers and employees through  performance improvement plans;
  • Assisting with the recruitment and selection process, collaborating with hiring managers to attract top talent;
  • Providing sound HR advice and keeping the team updated on relevant employment laws and regulations;
  • Facilitating the company's Group People & Culture Committee to deliver and monitor the success of engagement, diversity & inclusion, and community initiatives; and
  • Helping develop the Employee Value Proposition to align with company goals and communicating this effectively to employees.

About You

To see success in this role, you will have foundational knowledge of Human Resources, gained through relevant studies or experience working within the field. You will be looking to advance your career, develop your skillset and take on more responsibility through a motivated, mature and confident attitude. You will be approachable, friendly and collaborative and enjoy being a point of contact for a business. You love bringing fresh ideas to the table! Experience working within a corporate environment, ideally within legal, professional services, insurance or financial services is preferred. However, attitude and willingness to learn is most important.

The Process

The process will consist of an initial meeting with a Levyl consultant followed by a first stage interview with the People & Culture Manager, and a second stage interview with a senior business leader. A personality assessment will be completed via Hogan between the first and second round interviews.
