Employee Relations Partner | 12 Month FTC, $120k to $130k + Super

As such, they are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Partner to join their team on a 12-month FTC to manage workplace relations matters.
The Leaders
This role comes with the opportunity to work closely with a number of high-performing and impactful senior leaders across both P&C and sites across the network. You’ll report directly into the P&C Manager who has extensive experience working in operational environments and leading cross-functional teams.
The Opportunity
As the ER Partner, you’ll be responsible for the management of high-risk, highly complex ER matters while also supporting change management. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Take ownership over grievances and serious HR/ER matters that involve investigation;
- See disciplinary procedures and outcomes through to completion;
- Effectively mediate cases and collaborate with stakeholders in order to drive mutually beneficial outcomes where possible;
- Proactively coach leaders to elevate capability and confidence in dealing with people matters;
- Work to nurture positive relationships with union delegates and members onsite;
- Drafting of all correspondence to a high standard;
- Deliver advice on ER and IR to stakeholders that is not only accurate & compliant, but also contextualised and tailored to specific circumstances.
About You
You will be a resilient and confident ER professional with a level of expertise in the management of disciplinary procedures. You’ll have the ability to think critically when assessing each matter you are engaged on, and be able to effectively work with stakeholders to reach beneficial outcomes.
Your strong technical knowledge of employment legislation, case management, and IR will be coupled by a level-headed and considered approach.
Finally, you’ll have a natural tendency to work in a collaborative & proactive way and leverage the skills of your broader team.
