The Company

A leader in their field, our client has delivered some of Australia’s most recognisable infrastructure projects in urban and regional cities. With a workforce of circa 10,000, they are proud of their high employee engagement and retention, as well as their ability to attract some of the best talent in the market. They’re in an exciting period of growth, which is in addition to their current pipeline of projects as they begin to expand into new streams of the sector which will see them lead the way to a more sustainable future.

The Leaders

As the Senior HR Advisor, you will report to the Project Director who is incredibly experienced and renowned in industry. Their style is to work in partnership with P&C to create an engaged, safe and inclusive environment onsite. Your role will see you:

  • Provide support to leaders around performance management systems to enhance performance and culture
  • Facilitate meetings and engage with various stakeholders on the project to influence outcomes from a people perspective, aligned to broader objectives of the site
  • Partner with leaders to drive engagement and performance through coaching and advice, uplifting their capability

  • Work with the Group’s broader team around DEI, engagement and resourcing for the project.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience providing advisory or business partnering support, in a generalist capacity, within the construction or rail sector. You will be comfortable being hands-on, working to build positive relationships with employees and managers.

Strong experience in managing employee relations in a unionised environment is also advantageous as is having worked in a similar environment, driving engagement and high performance.
