Change Manager | Initial 6-Month Contract 

Opportunity to join a leading infrastructure business to lead change programs of work to enhance systems and processes!

  • Up to $200 - $220k + super, Sydney CBD based

Our client is a leading Australian-owned infrastructure business, delivering projects that support a sustainable future across metropolitan and regional Australia. The expertise and experience their people bring has seen our client play a leading role in their market as a trusted partner to their clients, both private and government sectors, to deliver innovative solutions that achieve sustainable social and environmental outcomes. With a strong pipeline of projects across Australia, they are seeking an experienced change leader who can support the streamlining of processes to ensure a seamless and integrated solutions offering to clients.

The Leaders

This role will sit as part of a high performing People & Culture team and report into the Head of People & Culture. The P&C team have been instrumental in supporting the continued growth of the business in the last 18 months to achieve success through its people.  

The Opportunity

As the Change Manager, you will work on initiatives across the organisation, partnering closely with various stakeholders at all levels of seniority. Your role will be critical in both design and delivery – working to establish frameworks and change methodologies to enact the appropriate change across the organisation and uplift change knowledge and capability.

This role will see you support projects such as organisational structure reviews through to changing the way in which the different teams across the project lifecycle work together. You will help define ways of working to ensure there is collaboration and a seamless transfer of knowledge and information to the team at each stage of the project phase.  

Further, you will:

  • Work to scope and decipher the change methodologies required to ensure it is most valuable in the results it will produce
  • Partner with the broader P&C and leadership teams to implement effective change management activities that will ensure the adoption of changes in the organisation
  • Develop and implement change strategies for programs across the business
  • Work closely with the Head of P&C to ensure capability plans are in place to coach and build leadership change capability
  • Deliver change management standards across the Group that are actionable and fit for purpose
  • Ensure the effective measurement of change initiatives through the development of measurable outcomes
  • Manage the communications plans for all change programs across a number of platforms
  • Continuous improvement of the change leadership standards and practices.

About You

What will see you succeed in this role is your experience working in a large, complex and fast-paced environment, managing and executing on a broad range of change initiatives. You will bring with you a breadth of change management principles, methodologies and tools that are innovative which includes agile change management.

The ability to take a broad perspective and manage the change activity on multiple initiatives at any one time will be key. Further to this, your ability to partner with senior leaders to coach and uplift capability will see you achieve great impact.

Certification in PROSCI or other change management certification is highly desirable.

Above all, you will be someone who is passionate and can bring an ‘edge’ to your approach to change management. The ability to work collaboratively with others and deliver work through a team is also key.

The Process

We anticipate there to be two-rounds of interviews with our client, in addition to an interview with a Levyl consultant. The first-round will be with the Head of P&C and EGM of P&C with the second-round with two key business stakeholders.  

The successful candidate will be required to undergo reference checks carried out by Levyl.
