The Leaders

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer and working alongside a team of peer BP’s, you will work collaboratively with leaders based in both Brisbane and regional Australia. The CPO is one to invest in her people and is driving an operating model re-design and the implementation of Workday. Improving experience and ensuring her team are adopting a market leading approach to HR is key for her.

The Opportunity

In supporting a portfolio of circa 300 employees, your role will predominantly focus on:

  • Partnering with leaders on performance, learning,  and recruitment;
  • Advising on compliance with relevance to legislative frameworks and P&C policies;
  • Proactively overseeing conduct issues, employee grievances, investigations, redundancies, restructures and any other employee relations matters;
  • The development of an annual strategic people plan (in consultation with key partners and the CPO);
  • Managing WH&S related matters and return to work plans;
  • Employee engagement, working on the identification of trends and development of initiatives and solutions; and
  • The continuous improvement of all P&C policies, processes, projects (Rem & Ben, CSR, wellbeing) systems and adoption of change.

About You

We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Advisor or Business Partner who has a strong foundation working across the full employee life cycle including end to end employee relations cases. Ideally you have worked in a mid size HR team and with a portfolio of stakeholders comparable to 300. Industry exposure to the financial services, professional services or legal industries will be advantageous as will be any prior exposure to Workday! You will enjoy an operational role with lots of breadth and collaborating with your team on people related projects and initiatives.
